| - I'm on the fence. I recently made my first trip to Sprout's because my Mom had seen something in their flyer that she wanted to buy (grapes on sale).
First of all, the location is pretty convenient. However, this is a crowded center and it can get a bit hectic. Although there is plenty of parking since it's a large center.
I didn't really know what to expect upon entering the store. I didn't look around as much as I would like, but we snooped around the produce and I looked at the meats/breads sections.
First of all, I felt really cramped. There just isn't enough room for everyone to have a cart. I was trying to get tomatoes, but had wait in another area while someone else shopped the tomoatoes. It was awkward that there isn't enough room for 2 shoppers at the same time.
We were disappointed to see that there was ONE single sad bag of grapes available. The sale wasn't THAT good and I can't believe they weren't restocked. The one remaining bag looked really bad and picked over, so we didn't buy it. Of course though, they had many other grapes at higher prices, in the bin next to it. Kind of bait and switch.
There were good prices on some things, but others were super overpriced. There also weren't enough cashiers open for a Saturday afternoon, and the lines were pretty long.
I won't go out of my way to shop here, but may stop in if I am in the area. I would rather drive out of my way to go to Trader Joe's.
