| - Like Jake W., we had a not-so-Merry Christmas dinner. The menu didn't list the one item our picky 17-year old was looking forward to. We sat for 15 minutes with staff hustling around, waiting for water. Our waiter Mark arrived, took our drink orders, then we waited another 15 minutes for drinks. We began to wonder if Mark would ever come back. After complaining to the hostess, she promised to send the manager over, but we didn't see him until much later (yes, it gets worse).
We asked three times for the bread that Jake mentioned, and ultimately got it after we had eaten our salads, about 45 minutes in.
After complaining to the manager (and we're not usually THOSE people), he comped us on our apps and one glass of wine. Our son had a great time making a game out of timing the lack of attention between events.
The food was good-just incredibly long wait time. We were given our check by the hostess, and chose not to wait around to see if the never-present Mark would return. We went to the front of the restaurant to pay, and listened to several more customers complaining about their experience.
