  • I got an ad in the mail from them two weeks ago advertising a tune-up and Inspection. The regular price stated $119 and the advertised price was $69.00 so I called them this past Tuesday 6/13/17 and the technician showed up. He was as weird as weird could be. His name was Alex and he stood by my front door the entire time asking me dumb questions. I told him I just wanted the check up and when I started to lead him to my hallway where the thermostat and main vent was, he just stayed at the door. I told him I had no dogs and told him that he would not be able to see the thermostat and vent unless he followed me and he just stood there. I also asked him if he was new. He just stood there like a deer in headlights. He asked me where was the unit and I told him on the roof of the house out back. Then he asked me if the unit was on. Finally I told him the only way he would know all of this is to physically examine it. I told him I had a checkup two years ago from another company and they just came in and did what they needed to do. No hesitation whatsoever. I told him if he was uncomfortable in my home, then maybe he should just leave and that I had two more companies postcards and that I would call one of them. So he left and I reported his strange behavior to his office. The same day, I received another postcard from them advertising $59.99 Tune-up and Inspection with the regular price now stating $89.00. So I just figured the company was either desperate or shady or both. I called One Hour Air and gave them my business. Wish I could post both postcard with the discrepancies in their regular price. How could it be $119.00 one week and then $89.00 the next week. I'm glad they didn't get my business.
