  • Came to the STORYS building for a pop-up dinner last weekend. Tucked away in the heart of Toronto's entertainment district, it is a multi-level event space and venue. You could walk by it a thousand times and not know what it is but wonder who all the fabulous people hanging around out front are and what brings them here. It gives it a sort of "exclusive feel" - like a Member's Only engagement. The building itself is not lavishly styled, with exposed brick and chandeliers to give it a cozy interior. The space is fitted with a kitchen, and marketing literature tips us off that there is an Executive Chef on staff if you want to work with them to plan an event. A very cool space in a "happening" part of town. I'd much go to an event at this place than to any of the cookie-cutter clubs in the district. I think I'm getting too old for clubbing.
