My friend and I came out here on a Saturday morning to check out this art installation. I wanted to get there earlier than we did(8:45 a.m. ish), but that didn't happen. I think getting there earlier would have improved my picture taking experience because there were a bunch of people trying to get selfies and group shots and I get that is what humans do, but I was like "F off l. I want to get a good shot of the rocks". Plans foiled by humans again.
People rant aside, this is a pretty cool display to check out. Close enough to town to get to easily and quickly, but away enough that you are able to "escape" a bit. Seven colored rock stacks that you cannot miss against the bland desert background. It pops, it's cool, it's worth checking out. Just don't expect to get photos that you want without other humans in them.
