| - No amount of research could've prepared me for how massive this place is. I wouldn't even call REBEL a nightclub, but a massive or a superclub. I'm used to venues in Washington, DC and Seoul, South Korea with the capacity of, at most, 1-6K heads in one warehouse space but Rebel has the capacity of ~5K across three different rooms. Driving up to the nightclub, you'll see a line of a few hundred folks eagerly waiting entry. I'm sure they wait 1-2 hours on average. Insider's tip: try to obtain staff guest list entry, reduced cover and bypass if at all possible. Please note that the online guest list from the website or via ClubCrawlers is NOT the same as staff guest list. My friends and I waited... 10 minutes at most from walking up, through paying the window teller, to entry into the club.
Ubers and taxis are a cluster at the end of the night. Get one price quote from a cabbie or an uber price check, and use that to your advantage when seeking a ride home. Also behooves you to walk a few meters away from the club to get a cheaper price. I can't speak for the drink prices though.
Sneaking into the VIP second floor balcony pays off for a nice bird's eye view of the main room. Not sure if sneaking past security gives adequate grounds to get kicked out of the entire club so 3/10 would not really recommend. If you wanna reach VIP in more... acceptable ways, I hear VIP booths start at $650 a pop and upwards.
Rest in paradise Guvernment. I'll come back later for Cabana, stamp.
Lastly, word on the street is REBEL is attempting to expand to a capacity of 15K in the future, surpassing that of Privilege Ibiza, holding 10K patrons and the world record for the world's largest nightclub.
