  • Compared to the loud bells and whistles of the hotels on the Las Vegas strip, Alexis Park Resort seems nearly shabby; however, don't be fooled! We came to genuinely appreciate our reprieve from 24/7 lights and action. Alexis Park Resort resembles an apartment complex of several buildings. The buildings are all two levels and access the rooms from the outside, similar to a motel. Three pools stretch between all of the buildings. The third pool is heated. Alexis Park Resort also has a decent exercise facility with clean towels and television. There is a restaurant, quiet bar (with a great happy hour), and a gift shop in the main building. We saw two rooms while we were there. Our room had a small kitchenette, bathroom, closet, couch, and bed. There were no clocks. The television was inconveniently located so that we could not see it very well from either the couch or the bed. We had to frequently remove the top of the toilet and fix the flap to keep it from running. The room was clean. We also saw the biggest room at the Alexis Park Resort. Our friends were getting married and had it. It looked like a town home complete with a staircase to an upstairs area. There were two or three bedrooms, bathrooms, and a hot tub. It was fancy! Our friends got married on the roof of one of the buildings at the Alexis Part Resort. There was a view the "skyline" of Las Vegas. The roof had astroturf. It could be accessed by either stairs or an elevator. It was set up very nicely. Later, we had a reception in one of the banquet rooms of the Alexis Park Resort. It was a lovely reception with tasty food. I'm not sure where the line is between what work my friends contributed and what was accomplished by the resort staff, but it was a very nice event. The staff at the Alexis Park Resort were easy to work with for getting cabs, checking in, and checking out. They were also gracious about a late check out.
