Handmade organic fair trade ice cream is pretty awesome in itself, but what's more is that Delight's assortment of flavours are inventive and their ice cream is tasty.
My Ontario strawberry which was made with 40% cream (10% more milk fat than the average other ice cream they make) had a strange texture that was resistant to being formed into a ball (and ended up chipping off the old cone in slices), but also didn't melt as easily as the other ice creams did. The waffle cone was crispy and butterily fragrant. The chocolate topper (with a choice of milk or dark) was a great sample of the store's raison d'etre.
