| - For anyone whining about how there's not enough "regular" dancing, please shut up. The rest of us go to Stoney's to AVOID PEOPLE LIKE YOU. Go back to Hakkasan and leave us alone. DJ Damien Kane is, quite simply, the best country programmer currently DJing in Las Vegas. He keeps the floor hopping, and manages to accommodate the line dancers, two-steppers and even the West Coast Swing weirdos, with a mix of old country, new country and great pop and rock alternatives for the line dances. He'll even play your request(s), provided you're not a cheap bastard and forget to tip.
The beer is cheap and cold, and that's all you should care about at a country bar. If you're wearing your six-inch heels, you're going to hate it here - which is NOT AN ACCIDENT. This is not a country-THEMED bar (i.e. Gilley's), this is a COUNTRY BAR. If you don't want to dance, stay away from the dance floor. Not everyone who asks you to dance is trying to take you home - TRUST ME. We are just there to dance, drink and blow off some steam. If you're nice, everyone will be nice to you. If you suck, well, you'll have a terrible time - and you won't come back... which is exactly how we like it. If you don't know how to dance, and don't want to learn, you'll be asked to leave the dance floor. This isn't "mean" - it's how country people do it.
The FREE Bull is an awesome perk, and the new security polices the dance floor well. Stoney's is the NEW home for country in Vegas, and nothing else comes close.
