  • I was disappointed with Christopher's and so were the two others with me. The price point is higher than other places I have dined where I received exceptional service. I have experienced better food and service in less expensive restaurants. I had been looking forward to my dining experience. I ordered from the restaurant week menu. I selected onion soup. I would review that the soup was okay but, I have had better onion soup or French onion soup. Also, I noticed an unusual flavor in the soup. I am not sure what it was. The server said he was going to see if he could identify it but, he never got back to us. I ordered sea bass for my next selection. It seemed that I received a skimpy portion of sea bass for the price. I had to eat a lot of French bread or I would have left hungry. Another guest at my table also ordered the sea bass and both of the two portions received were larger than the one portion I received. My other guest received two portions of sea bass because, a curly human hair was found strung in her meal and she did not find any of this to be appetizing. The presentation of the meal is not great if you are finding hair in your food. I wondered if they could start using a hair net or a hat in the kitchen. The long kinky hair that was found in her meal was not the color or texture of her hair either. The server had a second piece of fish prepared. However, it seemed like it was from a scrap selection because it had a lot of dark matter and some areas with an odd texture. It was not the best piece of fish that could have been selected. Furthermore, we all wanted to enjoy our meals together. It was disappointing that I was finishing my dish as the replacement meal was arriving to the table. I would expect better service, presentation and consideration from an establishment with the price point that Christopher's has. The dining experience should be marvelous and so should the food. The restaurant is asking for a premium and we should be getting a premium dining experience. The French bread was good but, I really did not come to dine on a bunch of bread. The last course was a mini two piece cheese plate with a sample of honeycomb and more bread. I want a good experience for the kind of money Christopher's is asking. The dining room was comfortable. The restaurant was somewhat busy but, it was not packed with people. Overall, it was very disappointing and especially with consideration with the value of the meals for the amount received and the price paid.
