| - For knitters, walking into Romni Wools is like walking into a beautiful dream: The back room is like a warehouse of yarns of all types, loosely organised by weight. The floors are usually an almost-impassable maze of bags of yarn, and it's easy to get lost amongst all the fibres, colours, textures, imagining all the lovely things you could create. There are swatches for practically every product, so you can see what the yarn will knit into, and many finished sweaters, mittens, and the like are for sale for those without the crafter's touch.
Romni's basement houses yarn on discount, again, an impressive selection, and another room is filled with shelves of knitting books and patterns. Needles and other accessories line the wall near the entrance.
If you're looking for something, just ask. Camel wool? They've got it.
I'm not sure any knitting store in this world can come close to Romni's splendour. I love this place.
