| - A little hard to find, but the payoff is WORTH IT. I found myself trying to kill time in the SouthPark area and wanted breakfast so after some yelp searches, decided to seek this place out. It's located in Piedmont Row, really tucked in to the left of the round-about (if you are coming in from Fairview).
Once I parked in the parking deck, I made my way around to the front, opened the door and was assaulted (in a good way) by the smell of fresh waffles being made. There was only one other person in the shop, sipping coffee and working at a table. I was greeted right away and I asked a lot of questions regarding their most popular waffles. The staffer was more than happy to explain that the waffle base is all the same, it's just the toppings that differ. Lucky for me, she had just finished making some fresh waffles to I tried the cinnamon roll. Unfortunately they were out of bacon so my first choice of the "lumberjack" was denied, but I was just as happy when the cinnamon roll and a mocha latte (I worked out that morning so I felt okay about it).
Over all, the shop itself is pretty cozy. I'd say maybe a handful of tables, I witnessed a lot of people just jumping in to grab coffee before their day started. I didn't stick around long enough to see if they had wifi, but it's probably safe to assume since someone was sitting there on their work laptop when I came in.
Looks like you can also buy a batch of frozen waffles here (dangerous), but I can totally see that as an option if you A) don't live near south park or B) want a little variety instead of the usual eggos :).
