The hotel is supposed to be a non-smoking facility, but they allow guests to smoke just outside the front doors and employees are allowed to smoke directly behind and below room 212...The a/c vents to the rooms are directly next to this area.. When we explained to the hotel manager ( who we were told wasn't on property, no manager in fact was present) that our child with special needs is extremely vulnerable to second hand smoke they only offered to move us rooms later in the day. When asked if they could stop employees from smoking outside of our room, we were told "No, that is the only place they can smoke." Our child's needs being placed below the needs of their paying guests is disgusting!
Updated: On our next to last day my husband found a bottle of medical marijuana left in the bathroom.. Luckily, our small child didn't ingest this...
