  • This place has always been a nightmare. I will save you the details of the past. I chose not to go to them any longer. It was the best choice I ever made. Sadly on November 18th Last year 2017 I got sick while driving with my child just about a block from Banner I was semi unconscious the pain was unbearable the sweat was dripping off of me it was winter and I pulled over put on my hazards called nine-one-one and handed the phone to my 11 year old at that point I don't remember much I remember somehow they got me into the ambulance I gave them my insurance information and they gave me water they tried to give me an IV but it wouldn't go in my hand. At the hospital I was drinking water sitting up and ready to leave the doctor walked in and I said I'm fine I was probably dehydrated we had a pie eating contest and I overdid it as a disabled person but I am fine I have no symptoms I will quote him here he said to me if you leave without me Examining you and you die in the parking lot it's not my problem. He said this in front of my child who had just turned 11. I have been getting bills although insured by Humana for 12 straight years had spine surgery at Banner I am in their files that's why I don't go to them anymore because of the nightmares that I experienced and yet I have been receiving a bill ever since November 18th from dr. Shields who never touched me, who scared my child and I've been fine I have received a $1,400 bill from him now it's in collections after four different times giving them My Humana information having the information on file in their billing and nobody will pay this bill or do their job so I think that billing is hired by the same people as higher of the incompetent doctors who someday we'll meet their maker and they will have to face the consequences what happened to First Do no harm? Simple it's at Dignity Health Mercy Care all the Mercy Care Hospital or the Dignity Health is related to Mercy Care the word dignity is there the opposite of dignity is missing in Banner in every sense of the word I'm not giving details but I can promise you that if you go there you may not walk out alive
