| - Okay, I am by no means a hard core Nascar fan or even all that interested in cars, but this museum is great! The Nascar Hall of Fame does exactly what a museum should do - make any subject interesting to all audiences. We spent over 3 hrs. here making the $30 per person tickets not quite as hard to digest. I highly recommend you spend the extra five bucks and boost the $25 per person general admission w/ a ride simulator experience and lunch in the little cafe - well worth the extra five!!
That ride simulator experience is a lot of fun and the cafe is pretty good, as far as museum cafes go. You'll be at the hall of fame long enough to work up an appetite. This place is immaculately clean and the staff are so helpful and friendly.
There's a 12 min. movie at the beginning in a stellar mega screen theater and it's really an entertaining little flick, we really liked it. The ride simulator experience is a must, don't miss out on that.
Nascar has gone above and beyond to pay tribute to the interesting history of this sport and it's players; cars, drivers, promoters, pit crew, owners, and sponsors.
It's totally wheelchair and stroller friendly (even the driving experience!) and totally comfortable with nice seating throughout. This is one of the top Charlotte experiences for visitors, hands down! Not to be missed!!
