  • Noticed this place while strolling Coxwell waiting for my take-out from Little Coxwell Restaurant and decided to pop in (I cannot resist a patisserie!). Cute interior, definitely a place I would sit and enjoy a coffee and the paper if I lived within walking distance. At the counter there was a nice selection of breads, pastries and fancy cakes/desserts. Usually I'd order a pain au chocolat or almond croissant but a golden, flaky apple turnover had me intrigued. I ordered one along with the "Mon K cream puff", which was also intriguing as it was the type where the cream was completely contained within the choux pastry. I split these two delicacies with my husband. Both of us agreed that they were amazingly delicious. My husband generally doesn't like eclairs or cream puffs, but this one he devoured. The turnover was flaky and perfect, with a rich dark apple filling. Would love to try more items from this place to see if they're as good. The quiches looked delicious. Wish I lived closer but my waistline is probably glad I don't. :)
