Do Not Sign anyThing with them until they have spelled out every meaning of the contract.
I just filled a complaint with the BBB about an issue I have had with them for over a year now.
I was told up front that the contract can be cancelled just like the club membership (at anytime). I provided documents to the business showing that had to cancel the contract for disabled reasons (section D in additional terms and conditions- "permanently medically disabled" ). The contract also shows that the monthly amount is broke down per units. The business also took the monthly amount from different credit cards they had on file and I was in dispute with the credit card company to help me with that. I have left letters from doctors and from myself showing the actions I was taking. The trainer manager, Brian, was very hard to get a hold of and would take forever to get back to me with my questions. I also have text messages from a number of times I was suppose to meet with my trainer and he would not show up. They said that I will not be able to collect for my unused units because "they are not like cell phone minutes, you can't reuse the minutes from last month." I have paid for 12 units the last time I was there (August 2016). I used 3 of the units, but then was unable to full fill the remaining 9. Per the contract , the units were $40 each; I would just like those 9 units refunded back to me.
I have also contacted the news stations and they have been trying to get in contact with fitness work, but have not had much luck.
I am just trying to get them to update a more spelled out contract, so this doesn't happen to anyone else.
