  • I contacted Handyman Matters after discovering that a toilet in my house was leaking from the wax seal and had destroyed the laminate flooring in it's vicinity. Jared was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with, and we were able to get the work scheduled for the following week to accommodate my travel plans. James came out and removed the existing flooring and toilet, put down tile, installed a new closet flange and toilet, and knocked out a few other miscellaneous tasks that I had been putting off. I was really impressed with several things about my experience. Communication can sometimes be difficult with handyman operations, but Jared was always reachable and followed up on everything promptly. There was also clearly good communication between him and James, which made things much easier. I'm very happy with the quality of the work and the total cost, which is based on a flat hourly rate. James went the extra mile to clean up after the job and addressed a few details that I hadn't even thought about. I'll definitely be sending more work their way in the near future.
