  • I just got a cup of tea and it was $4.50. For a cup of tea. I mean....what? It tasted just okay (not premium quality) and in no way exceptional (go to Tao Tea Leaf for that, where they charge $2 per cup..). I am an avid tea drinker and have had a lot of great tea, so it's not like I'm comparing this to tetley. Tiny store, nice enough owner. some of the teas seem store-bought which is really uncool. Will not be returning, especially at $4.50/cup. Tip to the owner: price your teas more fairly. Even high-end tea shops in the city are charging half of what you are. You're well on your way to losing business at this rate. Also, don't display boxes of grocery store tea in the shop - for those of us that know tea, this is offputting.
