I really wanted to like Prose. It's convenient, nice decor, and well-ventilated, with none of the typical salon odors. The person who checked me in and the nail technician were friendly and welcoming. I was concerned when I realized they don't offer OPI products. I've had bad luck with other gel products peeling quickly. I shared my concern, and they assured me that their product (CND gel) is long lasting. My pedicure was OK - not as much soaking time as I prefer, but the products were nice. Beware - there are steps up to each pedicure chair, so they're not accessible if you have mobility issues, even with the railings near the chairs. The manicure setup looks nice - a long, sleek bar with technicians on one side and clients on the other - but it is VERY uncomfortable. The width of the bar forced both the technician and me to lean way forward. To make things worse, I'm short and the stools are very high. Again, this place seems to cater to people without any mobility challenges. Definitely not accessible for anyone using a wheelchair. And then - my gel manicure peeled after less than a week. No way will I go back. OPI gel manicures always last at least two weeks without chipping.
