  • I am updating my former review as we have been here a number of times since (it's conveniently close to our home)! Bedford Academy is a huge, cool-looking spot that has ample space for a night out with friends, lots of TVs for watching a sports game (we came for the Olympics), good atmosphere, and friendly staff. The food is decent depending on what you order... I recommend the grilled cheese sandwich with egg and tomato for brunch (I think as asked for them to add the tomato) and I would caution against the nachos. The reason? We have tried them multiple times (after a bad experience we were invited back to try them again) and the overall experience of the nachos is: low amount of cheese, not melted properly, yet somehow burnt tasting? Anyway, definitely a good place to go with a group for good drinks and atmosphere.
