  • I had previously been having a lot of problems trying to communicate with this rental company. I also had previously written a heated complaint about this company, and the local property manager called me to alleviate my situation. I've been renting with them for about a year now. The house is pretty nice- a recent flip. There is a convenient online payment option, but this becomes pretty inconvenient when there are miscellaneous "extra" charges on there-- these extra charges hardly ever have any description, and there is no way of paying any less than the posted amount through this online payment screen. Therefore, you run the risk of a late payment as you're scrambling around, trying to get a hold of someone to explain the extra charges on top of your negotiated rent. Just make sure you keep in good touch with your LOCAL property manager. This is a huge national company, so it can be very hard to get a hold of someone, especially if it is about your account balance. The only contact information listed on the online payment portal is an 800-number, and good luck trying to get anyone who won't just transfer you to the next rep who also does not know how to address your problems. However, your local property manager has the ability to access your account and actually address and explain your bills. Edwin is our property manager and apologized profusely for the inconvenience this company has caused me over the past 6 months, and I truly appreciate the time he took to explain my extra charges on top of the rent amount-- which were mistakes, nonetheless..good thing I tried getting an explanation for my bill before actually handing over the money.. Just remember that you will most likely encounter problems with any rental company/landlord you will have...it's an inevitable truth of the business. You definitely want to do business with one that will make an effort to actually address and fix the situation for you, as much as they can.
