  • RUN FROM THIS MONEY PIT!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ARIZONA GRAND??!! This is what I don't understand... The Arizona Grand Resort bills themselves as a great "family" spot for fun in the sun. The only problem is the HUGE expense FOR EVERYTHING!!!!! I'm sitting in the room right now and I was charged $14.95 per day to use the wi-fi...okay, no big, BUT FOR EVERY DEVICE?! We have six cell phones in this room and one laptop! That's $104.65 just for the internet for 19 hours!!!?? SERIOUSLY?? The water park charges almost $50 for a wristband. The mini bar charges almost $5.00 for a bag of M&M's and $4.50 for a soda! And if you order room service be prepared for the 23% fee just to bring it to you, then you have to tip on top of that!!! The other thing I don't understand is it cost almost $300 for the day, except you don't get ONE DAY! Check in is 4:00pm and check out is 11:00am. That's 19 hours which is not one day...unless you're on Mars!! The water park is only open EIGHT HOURS a day...10 to 6....really??? If check-in is at 4:00 that means you only get two hours and then check out is at 11:00, so you get ONE hour at the park before you have to check out??? CRAZY!!! The park is clean, but who can afford to breath the air in this place??? Actually, I'm sure I'll be billed for the oxygen in our room before we check out!!!
