Large sign at the growler station "Tastings Noon to 6pm Fri, Sat and Noon to 4pm on Sun." I arrive with my 3 growlers Fri at 5pm and no tastings allowed. Keep in mind I drove by a half dozen places that allow many tastes before you buy because it's not like you're buying one glass. You're spending $25 to $75 on draft beer, I believe that warrants a taste. Then to top it off when I asked if they could give my growler a quick rinse I was told "policy" was not to rinse growlers anymore. What the heck, rinse my growler for goodness sake. If your margins are that thin close your doors and don't have a gaggle of employees walking around doing nothing. What a joke! I realize it's not the employee's fault, but someone without the short comings of a corporate mind needs to realize who pays the bills. Total Wine should be receiving thank you notes from Whole Foods, Khourys, Lee's and all the local micros because that's where I'm going in the future. Too funny, Total Wine executives should go visit a growler fill station in Oregon for a lesson or 2.
