I'm new to the area and have been looking for a new shop. I walked in here and right from the start I was made to feel un-welcome.
I walked into the shop the guy in the first chair doesn't say a word to me, no "hello, welcome to the shop", nothing. He just pointed to a podium by the front door where a small sign informed people to sign in. I signed in and waited a few minutes. When the barber was ready he just pointed to me (again not a word was said to me) and pointed at his chair. When I sat down he didn't even bother to introduce himself. He just asked "how do you want it?". I told him I just wanted a 1-1/2 medium taper with an inch taken off the top. Long story short I got a medium taper on the right side of my head and a partial fade/taper on my left side. He put a semi-decent blend on the right side and took my left side way too high.
If their goal was to not get my return business by making me feel uncomfortable right off the bat then mission accomplished. But the bad haircut was just an exclamation point.
Unless you want a basic fade, stay away. I didn't see any customer service nor did I see any real skill. I didn't even feel like he wanted my business until I tipped $7 and he finally smiled. And the only reason he got that much is because I didn't want the small bills. I usually tip around $20 for a good haircut. I gave 2 stars because the shop was clean.
