  • I love sushi. Takumi presents the best sushi In Madison outside of 2 downtown square options. Friendly efficient staff. Always consistent and delicious. Classic warm & inviting sushi restaurant ambiance. Love the red river roll, amazing roll, wasabi sting roll as well as the a la carte sushi. Top overall kid friendly Japanese in Madison. We bring our family at least every couple months. We have been to the newer habachi place 1 block west. Takumi blows it out of the water from a sushi perspective. From a habachi perspective both are very good. If you want a more intimate experience go with Takumi. If you like the more open public dramatic style you can consider the newer one.
