Ok, let me start by saying I'm all about beef ribs. If they are one the menu -that is what I'm having. The beef ribs here were falling off the bone tender but relied way too much on the sauce and not enough on the smoke in the meat for flavor. Overly sweet and no tangy heat that I expect on a good beef Q. Like some odd mix of St. Louis style meets beef ribs. I'd give them an 7/10. And at $28 I'd expect a 10/10... Sides were hit and miss. The whole corn was really exceptional - really a 10/10, great smoke flavor. Slaw was ok but the pecans really didn't add and the slaw was lacking something 6/10. Beans were good but again too sweet and not smokey 8/10. My husband's brisket sandwich was pretty good but nothing outstanding. He said 7/10.
Friendly, fast, professional service was still not enough to push this review up to a 5*. Overall pretty good but I probably wouldn't bother to go again. I'll save my Q quota for somewhere in Texas...
