We made it to the palms only to be told we were at the wrong place. It's hard to see the sign due to the palm trees. But you can't just pull up and go check in or unload your luggage as there are two lanes and one is valet and the other is thru traffic and taxis. DARE NOT touch the hotel carts nicely parked by valet to put your luggage on as a guy will run out and stop you as if it were his own. Only for valet customers. I felt like Forrest Gump trying to get a seat on the bus, "this seat taken". So you haul your luggage from the free parking which is a plus, to the dimly lit hotel lobby. Longest counter ever with one lone guy at the end. He charged us $35 to check in early. Which is reasonable to not stand around till check in time. I chose a high floor and the balcony view did impress me day and night. Now they call this a suite. Online pictures could be deceiving if taken a certain way leading the customer to think it's two separate rooms. The first thing I noticed was a hand print on the stainless steel fridge. Zombies? If you decorate with glass, mirror, and stainless steel maybe they should have some windex. Smudges everywhere. Tvs are on the same wall next to each other. Makes no sense. But you can mess with your guest by lowering their volume. Bathroom was different. No fan which could be deadly for some people. I showered with the glow of the tv located in the bathroom (pretty cool) because the frosted glass wall will otherwise provide anyone on the other side an X rated show. Cool for couples, not so cool for friends.
Overall room wasn't cleaned for the amount of stars it gets. Sofa bed is like all, it took all next day for my friend to walk upright due to that middle bar. Free internet didn't work so we paid for the slowest option. No bueno.
