| - I got a living social deal for this company for 5 rooms of carpet plus 100 sq ft of tile. I called to schedule an appointment as instructed and left a message. Well, it took 2 days for a call back. In the interim, I started reading reviews and began to get nervous that I was out the money for the deal. I got a call back and made an appointment that was convenient for me. My appointment was between 9 and 11. At 10:55, I got a phone call saying that they were 'on their way' and they showed up at 11:30. So not in the anticipated window, but appreciated the call.
When the guy got here, he was very nice. He checked the rooms to be cleaned and of course tried to upsell pretreatment (which is not included) as well as the grout cleaning for the tile. In all it was $60 for both and he guaranteed I would be happy with how clean my grout would look.
Total time took about an hour and a half for him to do all the rooms. My grout hasn't been that clean ever and I've tried everything to clean it (baking soda, grout cleaners, steamer, bleach). All the stains in the carpet are gone (and we have two small kids and a dog.)
Some people mentioned needing to pay sales tax. The voucher DOES state "tax and gratuity not included". I did not pay tax, but I paid a $15 travel fee.
So yeah it cost me an extra $75 for 'the works' but I'm completely satisfied with the results. It's easier than renting a machine, having to lug it home, and do the work yourself. We had done it ourselves 2 years ago and it didn't turn out as great and by the time you pay for the rental and the cleaner, I think it was close to $90 anyway!
Definitely satisfied with the work and would recommend this company.
