  • The Strat is underrated. I haven't been in awhile but I was talking it up to somebody last night who was heading out there. PROS It's cheap* and clean, the pool(s) are really nice, the view at the top of the tower is amazing + table minimums are low most of the time. CONS Location is awful, if you like to hop from casino to casino factor in cab fare or rent a car. I would not walk around the area at night. DO NOT try to walk from the STRAT to Freemont Street. *A quick note to the handful of morons I've seen post negative reviews: EVERY SINGLE STRIP PROPERTY CHARGES ADDITIONAL RESORTS FEES. They are not 'hidden' you just need to learn how to read.
