  • I love the metro parks. I just got done walking the black river reservation, burr oak trails, and I had a blast. Took about 2 hours to walk the trail and back. There is a new hiking path halfway. It leads down to the falls. You can go all the way to the falls if you were dirt friendly attire. - dog friendly - bike friendly There are plenty of bathrooms and water fountains along the way. There are also two wooden bridges that sway when people jog or bike across them. Directions: the bridge from west river is still under construction so be sure to use the ford rd. entrance.
