Today is the last day I give Petite Theut my money. I have been here at a few times now and every time I am greeted by a cranky man with no customer service. I come here for one reason the Macarons, which I must say now that I have tried so many across Toronto is the 2nd worst I have had. The first are made by students so that doesn't count. They are not fresh and the shell is grainy and they are just sub par. I came in this morning to celebrate Macaron Day T.O. There are 3 signs throughout stating they are a part this cause as they has the signs promoting it; yet when I said the phrase to get my free macaron the associate said "what" and acted ignorant. I came to the store at 7:30am, and there is no way there were out of their free Macarons yet, as the store just opened. I still bought my macarons and I just hope that the proceeds will still go to The Red Door Shelter and this isn't just a way to get us in the buy product. I will not be coming here again, even if it's for Charity as there are many other better patisseries' around Toronto and ones that are also apart of Macaron Day T.O.
