As you can see, I typically don't write Yelp reviews but I had to this time...
I would never consider taking my high end kinetic timepiece to any place other than a service center in NYC which is where I ship all my watches for maintenance. However, I was visiting Arizona recently for business meetings and the hands on my watch stopped moving. I didn't want to be without my "baby" for weeks so I reluctantly brought it into Fast Fix for a consultation. The moment I walked in, I was kindly greeted and immediately felt welcome.
A gentleman by the name of Sarkis (sp?) assured me that he's been servicing these types of watches for over 40 years and that he would take care of it like it was his own. Maintenance on the watch was overdue and being that Sarkis instilled confidence, I asked for a complete overhaul. When the watch was ready for pick-up Sarkis explained that there was a minor amount of rust on the mainplate but all of the other parts of the watch were in good shape. He removed the rust, oiled the jewels, calibrated the timing mechanism, cleaned the movement, resealed and then water tested. He also polished the case and band to a showroom finish.
When he presented the final product, I was astounded. It looked like the day I bought the watch in Beverly Hills 12 years ago. I couldn't be happier. Instead of shipping my watches to NYC and waiting weeks for them to return, I'm shipping them to Fast Fix from here on out.
