  • I doubt that John (the man who has been in this business for about 40 years) has changed in the past four years (since the last review). My wife and I went in there today with an older friend who wanted to sell some gold coins. He paid $10 more than the spot price (which I had checked before I left for his nearby shop). He checked the price right then and did as he promised when I called last week. John was super friendly, and we all enjoyed our time with him. He and his wife have a couple of Australian Shepherds and he told us all about them. Their names are Hayden and Shea. We love the goofy pet names! I learned all this just talking to him for about 40 minutes. Never met him before. He's pretty cool if you ask us. I'd go there again if I cared about coins, or bills, or old stock certificates. He obviously loves what he does.
