For some reason, I am never acknowledged when I enter this particular store. And let me say this: I hate to be that person who says that others are helped/ acknowledged but I'm not...but that's exactly the case here. I've stopped in here more often than usual in the last 5 months as we've been doing some major remodeling and redecorating in our home.
I stroll through the furniture, lamps and curtains, then see my way out without a hello or can I help you. Strangely enough, I'm probably one of 3-4 customers in the store each time this happens. They've never been overwhelmed with customers each time I've been there.
That's okay. I simply take my business elsewhere after these sorts of experiences. Fortunately, I've found better service at nearby businesses and was able to buy the necessary furniture I needed there.
I will not revisit this particular location because the employees seem to be wrapped up in more important things than the simple act of greeting their customers. Sad shame, it's such a pretty store. Though fortunately for me, there are many other lovely stores to shop at where customer service is valued.
