The house next door to me is vacant and has been for 8 years so I decided to seek legal counsel on what I could do to obtain it - consult, p sterling Kerr. It was suggested that we do a title search for $275 to see if anyone was on the title. I was told that no bank was on the title and that the paperwork for the house must've gotten lost in the market crash (I should've gotten this bull$h1t in writing) and we should proceed with a quiet title. Mr Kerr filed all of the paperwork, charged his fees, never returned phone calls or emails and although countrywide mortgage answered our attempt to default the property (no bank was on the house during the title search?) mr Kerr advised that we move forward to try to get the quiet title anyway. After $4000 and a bunch of unanswered calls and questions the house is on the market. It went to auction and the bank decided to buy it down and sell it. Sterlings reaction was "well, we got their attention". For $4000 we "got their attention"?! Do yourself a favor when seeking legal counsel in real estate - stay away from this law firm.
