| - If you come in with the right expectations - this place is fantastic. The brews are cheap, the wings are greasy, and the tables are sticky - a dive bar at its best.
$10 will get you a pitcher of in-house beer, which I would rate as slightly better than passable. I wouldn't serve this stuff to my family, but it goes down surprisingly easy. Even if you're too snobby for no-name brews though, drinks are cheap across the board. Thursdays feature $1 off all litresteins, and there seem to be other specials most nights.
When I went - there was a huge group of U of T medical students drinking together, and as the night progressed, the atmosphere got progressively rowdier. If I was a student in Toronto, I could totally see myself making this a regular haunt.
There's only a single server, but she does her best. Your food won't come fast, but it'll come eventually - and when the cheque arrives, you won't have to reel from sticker shock.
