  • I purchased a new 4 ton HVAC system back in December 2013. Jason sold me the unit along with a 5 year labor warranty and 10 year parts. They installed the next day. There have been a few problems along the way starting with a faulty installation. The roof unit was installed poorly and leaked badly into my master bedroom. Once up in the attic I could see a few areas where light was clearly showing through. Shoddy installation. They ultimately took care of the drywall and ceiling repairs. The texture guy definitely could have been better. Fast forward a bit and Thermostat takes a dive and was replaced. Now about 2 1/2 years later and the system stops cooling. I suspect it's low on refrigerant and the coils are frozen. I call SDHC and the numbers are all no longer in service. I checked all around the Interlands and all of the numbers I could find are no longer in service. I suspect all their shoddy installs are catching up with them and perhaps they are ducking out. I even checked the BBB and they still have an A+ rating. How is THAT possible!? Well, they probably paid for the rating as I've seen over and over again. SDHC installed my HVAC and warranted the unit for a good period of time only to have phone numbers no longer in service and un-contactable for service! Shame on them.
