| - I came here with some friends and since there were a lot of us out generous host had a set menu ready for us to indulge in only what could be described as an insane amount of food.
Right off the bat if you are throwing a party or have a large group, you might consider this venue an option. They have room, and seem to be pretty used to such things. So if you call ahead they can be sure to take care of you.
There were some highs and lows to the meal...
Highs:
- Meatballs (so I was told since I don't eat them) However I noticed out of all the plates people were gobbling them up the most.
- Hummus and Veggie plate: Pretty darn good. I wish that they had maybe picked the veggies or did something with them, but I am embarrassed by the amount of flatbread and hummus I ate. I swear if someone even LOOKED like they were going to get it away from me I would growl!
- Olives: Don't order these on a first date or with someone you are trying to impress, or even, act as if you are not a total animal. I always say, let them find that out later with a little time! heh
Lows:
- Cesar Salad: Just god awful. Right when we put it in our mouth we all knew something wasn't right. We didn't want to offend out host or anyone else at the table who may have enjoyed it. However, there were a few of us that sort of gave that wide eyed "Ewww this is nassssssstyyyyyyyy" look. Honestly, I am not sure what was off, like there was just this foreign sort of something that was not good.
Meh:
- Marg Pizza: I felt it wasn't truly a margarita pizza. I mean it was good, but had too much sauce and too much cheese with not enough basil flavor to really pass itself off as a margarita pizza. I mean, I love sauce and such and so the pizza was awesome. I just think that if you order a marg, then you probably want a traditional marg if that makes sense.
I didn't drink as this was my last day in Vegas before I drove back to SD. The water helped me stay alive though!
Over all I have TOTALLY had worse pizza in Vegas but I wouldn't make a huge special trip here unless I was hosting a little party and needed a place with a great set menu option with a TON of food.
