| - It seems reviews of this place are pretty mixed.
Strangely enough, I didn't even make it to the bread they're "known for." My boyfriend and I, on one of our first few dates, wandered in here after searching for something that we could park at, stop in and eat, and then walk around. We parked, we stopped in.. but that's where it ended.
There weren't many people inside (first sign!) and the people who were supposed to greet and seat weren't pleasant at all (second sign!). When we eventually did get seated, it took forever for a waiter to come by, which struck me as odd since it was us and a table of four elderly people sitting in the same room. We got our menus and scanned them. Yes, I was a vegetarian at the time (now I only do chicken occasionally -- different story for another time), but I wasn't too picky. I could easily get a side of potatoes and a salad and consider it a meal, as I'd done several times before.
However, with the service lacking and the prices being a bit ridiculous, we decided to leave. The wait staff was standing around talking (as we saw as we walked right past them). We instead went down the street to PF Changs.
I do admit, this place has a westerny/old timey charm, but that's about it.
