  • Hmph. Not impressed. I came in to try the infamous Sprinkles cupcakes and all I could say was 'MEH.' I got the seasonal Pineapple Upside Down cupcake which looked overall fantastic. First, the frosting to cake ratio is ridiculous. Waaaaaay too much frosting, which was like a mountain of sugar overbearing my poor cake. Frosting wasn't all that impressive tasting. The cake itself was OK. I enjoyed the small pineapple bits inside the cake, but it was super crumbly and a bit hard to eat if you didn't have a fork. It was simply average. Nothing that made me say 'wow' this is good or enough to recommend to others.
