I've been meaning to try this place out. I love Soondubu (Korean Tofu Soup), it's my favorite Korean dish food. It's located in the same plaza as Pho Kim Long and Lee's Sandwiches. Inside is pretty spacious and they played kpop music which is always a plus.
SERVICE
I arrived around 2pm and it was not busy at all. I was seated immediately and food came out quick. The waitress was attentive and nice. She complimented my chase card because it was Disney, and her excitement about Disneyland was so cute.
FOOD
I ordered a mild beef soondubu and it comes with rice and banchan (side dishes). It was delicious, they included big chucks of tofu and the broth was not as thick as other places. There was an egg inside and the yolk was still runny, yum!The banchan was very different from other Korean restaurants I've been to. From left to right: sweet marinated bamboo shoots (the waitress said it's very good for you body), mushroom and cucumbers, fermented daikon (radish), and a cold shaved radish.
CONCLUSION
The service and food was absolutely wonderful. I will definitely be back to get more soondubu.
