Went in there at 4:30 pm on 11/9/15 and a female Hispanic worker was putting up signs forbidding access to post office line to mail packages. I told I had researched on-line that the hours were until 5 pm for desk service. She told me I was a liar and that she checks the web site every day and it says they close at 4:30 pm. I told her that I was trying to get a package out to my son who is active duty military in time for Veterans day and that I was also a Veteran and I asked her nicely if I could get in before she put up the signs. She refused saying she didn't care that I was a Veteran and she did not give a (curse word) that my son was in the military. I said I would go use Fed-Ex or UPS instead of the post office and she said it didn't matter to her because it still goes through the postal service. She was still arguing with me as I left. I feel that this was a horrible experience and that a government employee should not treat a veteran or any customer with such disrespect. I went home very upset and found 10 websites that listed the desk retail hours at this post office open until 5 pm.
