  • Vovomeena is a dependable brunch spot in Phoenix with cute outdoor seating and a quick wait time. The biscuits and gravy was everything I wanted and more, with thick, creamy gravy, well-done eggs, and soft, layered biscuits. The savory crepe was nothing exceptional, but the pain perdu (banana bread pudding french toast) was delicious and nothing like any french toast I had every tried before. It came with sausage, rounding out the dish and adding a savory component. I will continue to come back here for the cold-brew coffee and to try their other dishes, particularly the BMOC and the Mexican Benedict.
