| - Brought our dog here three times to be trimmed, and the third time they told us she was being too bad and too stressed out to cut her hair. Mind you, she's 14, and weighs maybe 5lbs, and has had her hair trimmed every few months for 14 years straight and never had a problem. Their suggestion was we take her to the vet to have her anesthetized to have her hair cut, because she was "too old to be muzzled..." but if she's too old to be muzzled you think the better option is to drug her? She doesn't like having her face cleaned, and never has, but again the groomers we have taken her to in the past have never had any trouble. The level of incompetence is astounding... It may be stressful for her to have her hair cut, but having long, thick, dark hair in the 110+ degree weather in Phoenix will be far more stressful. Take your dog somewhere else where they can actually do their job. Also, the second time she got her hair cut they cut her face...
