| - I was robbed at the Palms Place Spa. You can read the whole story at the link below if you want. But I need to emphasize the failure of security and professionalism at the Palms, where someone can walk into the spa without showing any Identification or pass any security, secretly watch me key the code to my locker, and then rob me of a LOT of cash when i'm getting my treatment. The security team was slow to react, and the sales and management people at the spa went the extra mile by giving me a bottle of water and saying "try to stay calm, sir."
The Risk Management team investigated and came back with absolutely nothing. Nor did they do anything to restore my confidence in the safety, security, or quality of the establishment. When I asked for names and contact information for the customer service team, my calls and emails were completely ignored. It's appalling to me that a place as upscale as the Palms Place Drift Spa, whose entire existence depends on high quality customer service, had such a monumental failure. They did not even offer to refund my treatment.
I've received dozens of hotel room deals and entertainment packages from Palms over the years in the hopes that I would come to their casino and spend my money. For years I did. But when something as serious as Grand Larceny happens to an honest customer, their luxe service is nowhere to be found. It's a sickening feeling.
