rev:text	This gym got new owners January 2016 so disregard any reviews from past years. A lot of promises were made and I decided to stick it out a little longer to see the improvements. The gym has the needed basic equipment, saunas, jacuzzi and pool. Slowly but surely the owners have worked towards driving the current gym members out. First the coffee and juice bar were closed, then towel service ended. There was a large senior population that also used the gym as a social experience and gave a extended family feel. The tables where they visited before and after their workouts were removed .. Maintenance became nearly non-existent, it took 3 weeks to replace 2 $7 shower heads, often the soap containers were empty, trash cans overflowing, the only time we saw a custodian in the men's locker room was on Sunday. The new equipment that we were told would arrive early March is still not there, inability to get permits has delayed the renovations and it looks like things may finally get started in May but I won't be there to see it Last straw for me was walking in and the jacuzzi and pool had been closed by the health department because the new owners neglected to get permits. Unbelievable! But when you think about a new owner driving out an existing, financially secure, customer base you have to wonder where they got their management training. I was a member here for 17 years and I knew many others who had been there just as long or longer. Anyway, the bright side is that at my new gym I already have an established base of friends since a couple dozen moved to it before I did.
