rev:text	More like 1.5 stars. I went to Vegas for a quick overnight trip and needed a room for one night. The location is great because it is on the strip, next to Citycenter and my friends were staying here as well. Outside of that, this place blows more than the girls pictured on the flyers handed out on Las Vegas Blvd. Even though I only paid $79 for the room, I know I paid too much. The rooms are old and need a major updating. They still have cathode ray tube televisions in the rooms. The rooms are clean and seem to have new bedding but it still doesn't help. The hotel/casino is only a little better. A little more up-to-date but there's a smell that you can't get away from. At first, we thought it was some lady going nuts on the cheap perfume and we happened to be trailing her but it was there everytime we walked in and out of the gambling area. We concluded that it was some perfume/scent pumped in to mask what ever smell was going on at this place. The dealers are/seemed so unhappy working here. They were just counting the minutes until death showed up or maybe a paper cut from one of the cards they were dealing so that they can go on disability and not have to be at the entry way to purgatory. No smiles, no personalities, just a blank stare at you with emptiness inside of them. Sad. The customer's here are a "little rough around the edges" is the best way to describe it. They look like they could be locals who usually gamble in downtown but wanted to upscale it for the night. Never again will I stay in this place regardless of my friends. Should have trusted my gut and booked a room at Vdara, Aria or the Mandarin Oriental since they were right next door. We wound up gambling at the Aria casino anyway. Uggghhh....
