  • Bar Ape is known to post their locations on their Instagram and hours for each day (usually Trinity Bellwoods park). I have been trying to chase them around town for a year. When their post shows up on my feed, I am too far to get it. Now they have a shop, a stable address, so I don't have to chase them around town anymore! Like many of the other popular ice cream/gelato/frozen treats shops around Toronto, Bar Ape is tucked inside a smaller street off of a main street, but I mean, you'll see the queue and commotion, which will immediately trigger you to walk over to see what's going on. Bar Ape is famous for their gelato bars. Nicely packaged and ready to eat. Which of course you'd be able to get at the shop. The shop also offers "soft serve" gelato/sorbet. You can also get pints to take home, and they super freeze this so it lasts a little longer out in regular temperatures, not meant to be consumed right away. Bar Ape, I finally got you! And I'll get you again!
