  • I'm not entirely sure how Wicked Spoon has managed to stay open with all the other buffets on the Strip... They have their antipastos, seafood, carving station, Italian, sushi, Chinese, and desserts. But they don't have very much variety in their stations - the seafood was pretty much just crab legs, the Italian station had 2 pizzas and 2 pastas, and the sushi section had maybe 3 sushi rolls and a few selections of nigiri. I think the biggest sections were antipasto and dessert, followed by Chinese. Most of the food, even my lemonade, was bland. BUT I will say - I think they COULD be good. So hear me out. Their Caesar Salad came in a jar, which was very hard to eat and the dressing pooled at the bottom of the jar so the lettuce on the top didn't have dressing at all. The XO sauce noodles were cooked al dente but for the amount of sauce drenching the noodles, it was bland. They had a lovely selection of vegan desserts, but their desserts in general were kinda strange - not very many simple desserts like Tiramisu or Rice Krispy Treats, but more like attempts at "franken-desserts" (combining two tasty desserts into one) like Tiramisu Torte and Oreo Rice Krispy Treats. All things are easy fixes, but I personally think they're trying too hard to be different... The only redeeming factors were their carving station, which had pretty good prime rib, the beautiful decor, and the amazing service. But these qualities aren't enough to pardon the price - on the Strip, for about the same price, you can get better quality AND quantity.
